Description
This eTraining introduces a five-phase process for implementing federal on-site renewable energy projects to meet agency goals. The course reviews current statutory and Executive Order renewable energy goals, introduces available procurement pathways, reviews best practices from successful federal projects, and provides up-to-date technical tools and resources to support project success.
The course discusses the fundamentals of renewable energy systems, including primary components, requirements, and best practices for utilizing renewable energy for electricity, heating, cooling, and other applications at Federal facilities.
