Acquiring Low Greenhouse Gas-Emitting Vehicles for Federal Fleets: Meeting EISA Section 141 Requirements

Presented by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP), and the General Services Administration (GSA), this webinar is intended for federal fleet managers at all levels. It covers how to successfully acquire low greenhouse gas-emitting vehicles for Federal fleets to meet the requirements of Section 141 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA 141).
Learning Objectives
Participants will learn about:
- EISA 141 Requirements;
- Corresponding EPA guidance and tools and;
- How to determine which vehicles qualify as low greenhouse gas-emitting vehicles.
They will also understand how to properly report vehicle acquisitions in the Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) and what low greenhouse gas-emitting vehicles are available for Federal fleets to lease or purchase through GSA.
